Fermentation in stainless steel and maceration. Malolactic fermentation and maturation for 4 years in Slavonia oak casks and in French oak barrels, of which at least 2 years in oaks and barriques and at least 4 months in bottle.Ruby red, dense but clear. Ripe-fruit fragrances of dark cherry and dried plum. Tannins are expressive but not invasive, balancing a nice vein of crisp acidity. Long-lingering finish with nuanced flavours.Best with braised meats, beef stews, ripened cheeses.
